A typical Saturday...

A typical Saturday.. started with me going to the stupid market ... stopping on the way in the airlines agency.

Gosh, the stupid air ticket is freaking expensive even after the accident...and I finally ended up with the cheapest, lousiest airline company in the entire world.Paid for a human seat and ended up sitting with ANIMALS. Yes!!!!!! is freaking ANIMALS.... dogs, cats, maybe hamster... whatever.....
and a stupid transit in the lousiest and smallest and smelliest transit hall ever. A transit hall with only 1 duty free and a stupid cafe, the best part is ALL INTERNATIONAL TRANSIT PASSENGER WERE ALL IN THAT FREAKING TRANSIT HALL... India, Pakistan., Japan, China whatever....

So sorry... I am so freaking pissed with the fact that I've to take that freaking airlines again because it's the CHEAPEST and baggage limit is 30 Kg. This probably the only 2 pros about it.

Oh yea... btw, we had Laghman and Shourpa for lunch.. It's is damn nice.... despite the fact that the freaking weather is damn cold. Hope this is over real fast...

Our food, with tea and bread..
This is Shourpa, to be exact is mutton ABC soup..This is laghman...
with the beef and onions. Warning: it's damn oily.

My Saturday... ended with a broken necklace of mine. It's my favorite and I don't wanna mention about it anymore....

My broken necklace...sigh

Weird snow...

It is end of February which signifies
END OF WINTER!!!
but..
the freaking winter didn't end but just started...
Here's the story..

Before I went to Egypt.. which is on the 10 of January, everything seems fine. Winterish , with the snow and cold wind...

The gift of mother's nature.
Beautiful scenery..
Trails of footprints... on the snow..

After 2 weeks, things changes, the sun was bright sunny , breeze was cool and everything signifies Spring is coming.. yeah!!!

Then, a week ago, the weather change again, cold wind blows, raining, and finally

It snows yesterday night, so quietly when everyone was sound asleep. Well, at least I do, slept like a pig.

This morning, everything was covered with white white snow, which is an inch thick, everywhere is so white, so bright and so beautiful...

A surprise from god, from mother nature...

This is taken outside my classroom.. a view from the window.

Outside my hostel, from my room window.
Another view... quality is bad lahz.. what you expect.. taken from my phone lahz.. camera rosak...

Finally.. the pyramids..

On the last few days of our Egypt trip, we went to Cairo. FYI, Cairo is around 6 hours journey by car from Hurghada. The journey started at 2am..( siao arhz.. so early, that means no sleep for another day.. yupe it's that hectic.. I also don't know why), we reach Cairo early in the morning around 8 am.. to my atonishment Cairo was unlike other capital.. all the building looks like this ( refer to the picture below..), so as a whole, Cairo was a piece of construction site..
See the unfinished building...

According to the tour guide, the Egyptians don't have to pay tax as long as they haven't complete building their home, so the "clever" Egyptians thought of a brilliant idea to escape taxes, not to paint their home..and the uppermost level was left abandoned , this is also because next time when their child grown up, they can just simply extend the floor above and live together as a one big whole family.. how brilliant...

As a result, the entire Cairo looks like one piece of unfinished construction site with the dust flying here and there... together with the traffic jams and cars honking sound...

Our first stop is Cairo National Museum , it is where all the mummies and tombs and possessions of the pharaohs placed.. too bad no cameras allowed inside the museum.but something very interesting, there was Ramses condom in the museum, but the problem with this condom is it is not efficiency at all.

Us in front of egyptian national museum.

Statue of baboon..
Baboon signifies god of sun.. in front of National Museum of Egypt, Cairo

After lunch, we head off to the pyramids. Pyramids is in city of Giza, across the Nile river, in the city of dead. There are 9 pyramids in total, 3 come in different sizes, S, M ,L and the other 6 is small pyramids.

Khufu pyramids is known as the world largest pyramid. It is magnificient, so acute and so historical... it is Le-----wait for it... wait for it...... it's coming.... Gendary!!!!
A sneak peak of the pyramid. This is the M size one.

See the world largest pyramid, easy job for me.. I easily reach the top..

The pyramids are build from this limestones. See the lime stone, each cut at almost the same size, so acute, so sharp and so straight. I wonder, how could they carry so heavy blocks of stones and stack it so high up 5000 years ago?? mystery unsolved..

Posers in front of the pyramids. See it seems so rough, it is because the outer layer slough off due to the wind and natural factors.

Nothing to do, camel ride too expensive so act cute lor...

Small and big one together..

3 pyramids at a row..

Entering a small pyramid. the stairs are real steep and watch your head while you enter..

On my way down. it's kinda deep.

Finally reach the bottom. actually it's nothing below.

but blocks of stones, dust, stones dust and stones....

This is tomb of the architect who designed the pyramids and his little boy.. the architect to be.. according to the tour guide, he is the man ... the man who killed billions of people building the pyramids.

Another sexy shot of pyramids.. this is the khufu pyramid, largest in the world.

Acting cute... the sphinx, believed to be the guidance of the pyramids.

See..the front view of the sphinx..
Giza city as a whole..
With our tour guide...

That's all for Cairo, last place Alexandria trip coming up... stay tuned..

Announcement..

I am bored to the max...
I've read every single blog I bookmarked...
Browse face book for 5 times...
Watched an entire series of House..
Washed the bathroom
and even blog twice...

Someone help me..

Egypt post part 4...

This is like never never ending huh... guys just be patient and it will be over soon, real soon. but anyhow, hope you guys enjoy the stories..

Day 4, 5, 6 was nothing much, all we did was walk around in Hurghada, enjoying the breeze and sunshine. It's nice to get some sunshine in the midst of cold winter not to mention in Ukraine the country I am staying now is freaking cold AGAIN. yes, I mean AGAIN, it was once spring-like but don't know due to what PMS reason, the weather changed drastically which is so atypical for a winter to end like that.

OK, back to our topic, we browse to shops, cari gaduh once in a while, stroll along the beaches and even went up people's private yatch. Gosh they are friendly.

Enjoying ourselves at the beach.

Speaking about beaches, there was a very interesting scene I must share. There is a very very very "Sexy" man sunbathing and was probably from some acrobatic or ballet academy . His posture was first class and he is real good at splitting and showing off his "banana", not to mention he wears a G- string. Thinks that I am exacerbating, check out his photo below.

See, told you already...

We went to Hughada's Marina, which is actually a port for the rich guy yatch to park, wow, there were lot's of yatch big one small one and many many others. I enjoyed by just looking at it.

The water was crystal clear that we can even see SEA URCHIN .. aka sea rambutan.

This is my yatch..
This is mine too..
This also... very greedy huh..
I am trying to drive it.. stupid arhz.. it is autopilot want lahz.
A snap with the owner. He is from Turkey, travelled 2 months to reach here.
Our seafood meal.
With the craft man. I am ruinning his work.See his work....

Day 6 was scuba diving day. As usual, we board a yatch and went out to the middle of sea. Bad day that day I can say, because the waves and current was very big and the yatch was so shaky that resulted me "mabuk Laut".

In the middle of mabuk laut--ing..

How? how? how? my entire diving trip was spoilt, the world spinning around me, I feel like puking.. gosh.

Finally decided to change and get the life-time experience.

But finally, I made a decision to get myself into the water diving. It was my first time diving and I admit that I freak out. I was damn scared ok... but the moment I get into the water, everything was ok as my instructor was awesome. He guided me all the way and actually there was nothing to freak out.

The scary face... haha..

I dived for 2 times once is 8 meters deep and the 2nd time is 10 meters deep. The underwater world is awesome and I can said it is a good and wonderful experience, except for the part that the stupid waves were too big that day .

In the action..
After that... the feeling was awesome, i felt like I just challenge something new.

It was rather relaxing , a break from the hectic medical student life, the tight schedule of travelling to historical sites, a few days where you can wake up at 10 am enjoy your breakfast and go back to sleep. It is a nice nice vacation.

Stay tuned, Pyramids are coming up..

Polyclinics in Ukraine..

I am having my therapy aka medicine cycle in Polyclinic N 2 in Ukraine, Simferopol, teacher is superb and the cycle was rather relax except for the fact that I need to get up super early in the morning and walk in the cold winter air just to get my lazy butt to class is rather annoying.

Polyclinic is a place where a wide range of health care services (including diagnostics) can be obtained without the need for an overnight stay. ( Taken from Wikipedia), but polyclinics here are more to...

A super super super super multi purpose stall selling shoes, cloths, shampoo and cosmetics .. probably the ah ma aka locker lady needs some side income or part time job, but the problem is, who will come to a polyclinic to buy this stuff????

Only the Ukrainians have the answer.
